Stray Chords Ceilidh Band is based in North Yorkshire, named after 200 acres of common land known as "The Stray" in their home town of Harrogate. The band plays lively traditional folk music for barn dances and ceilidhs.

No previous dance experience necessary! Stray Chords bring their own experienced dance caller to teach you the moves. A barn dance is the perfect celebration for most occasions - weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, PTAs, church and community events.

The band usually comprises Joyce (fiddle), Philip (accordion) and Ian (bass).

The band is available for bookings in Harrogate and the surrounding area. Stray Chords also plays at folk dance clubs around North Yorkshire and folk festivals nationwide. Contact Philip for more details.
